Detail: After my warriors ceremony the clan became weaker and weaker after the drought in the fall and the harsh winter known as the Ice Season by the elders when my brother, Greenpaw died. There were few senior warriors and few apprentices and only three young warriors, myself, Redclaw and Flowerleaf, daughter of Jaystorm, the elderly deputy and the late Berryblossem. We found comfort in each other as mates. When Redclaw triumphed in a small skirmish with ShadowClan I was sure that he would be named deputy when Jaystorm stepped down, but alas, he died of an injury he hid from the clan coupled with a bad bout of greencough. So I was named deputy, I made my father, who was leader at the time, proud. I was a good deputy too, until my father died only two years later and I became leader. That was when Flowerleaf had her litter of kittens, Bobpaw, after his bobbed tail like mine, Dogpaw, after his large ears and playfulness, and Foxpaw, after her amber streaks like Flowerleaf.
