Whitewhisper quietly worked on extracting the new yarrow leaves with her claws. This was difficult because paws were not made to pull things from the ground without destroying the roots. She couldn't use her teeth because yarrow made cats vomit and she didn't want to be sick. So she worked each leaf with her claws, tearing gently at it's base.
